Looking for a bit of advice. At the Yorkshire meeting today, Yellowcupra kindly offered to do a Vag-Com check to see if I had any error codes. For some reason he was unable to make a connection with the ECU. It worked fine on two other cars there, any ideas what may me wrong that it? Cheers

Re: Vag-Com couldn't find ECU Just checked all the fuses, all working fine. Can't remeber exactly the words that came up on the computer screen, but it was definitely not recognising it. Perhaps Yellowcupra would be able to shed some light on the exact message it came up with. At least it came up with one fault................it doesn't do Vag-Com. History of the car as best I know, it was a lease car for three years, as such I would be surprised if it has had the radio changed, which I understand does have an impact on the K Line (so i was told). ![]()

Re: Vag-Com couldn't find ECU Nope, as far as I can tell everything is standard, unless of course one was fitted and then removed before I purchased the car.
