| Has anyone got a working version (will read all fault codes) of VAGCOM? If anyone has i'm looking for somone to help me out with the VRS before it goes in for service - checking to see if I need to clear max engine revs exceeded fault again. Obviously I will travel if needs be, and am prepared to pay in beer for assistance. I have a laptop, VAGCOM lead (seriel) and a version that lets me change certain settings, but because my lead is so old i can't find a newer version of VAGCOM that it works with and will do a full fault code check. ![]()

| The old version (3.11 I think) is what I use with my serial cable and it does everything possible on a MK1 Octavia. EDIT: Jon/Jason, do you want the cable back yet ? |
