| Re: B6277 Middleton to Alston have to admit that is one of my favourite roads on earth. but i prefer it the other way.....going from the Shap round about and up to alston....cos then you get VERY tight bends and 1 brilliant hairpin.....up hill seems to be more fun in 3rd/4th in the vRS and you get to see the road out ahead so you can overtake...... i used to have a mini too and the grip that car gave you was great fun....but didnt pull as much as the vRS! |
