| Accelerator pedal sensor is showing an intermittent fault, causing the engine to go into 'safe mode' It's only happened a few times and restarting the engine cures it, but it's booked in for next week. They can take a look at the minor rattle behind the instruments as well. ![]() |

| Bad luck! Sadly, kit does somes fail early on, but at least it's under warranty. And if you get your squeak sorted, then so much the better! Hope it's fixed soon! |

| Skoda must have done something different on the right hand drive cars, because I haven't seen or heard of a single new left hand drive Fabia with accelerator pedal sensor problems so far.. Overall this sensor usually is incredibly sturdy, and faults are extremely rare. I started trying to repair VAG cars in 1992, and to this date, i have replaced only one or two sensors. i hope your dealer sorts out both the rattle and replaces your throttle pedal sensor quick, so you can get back to drive and enjoy your new car Enjoy! | My Fabia has a rattle coming from the passenger airbag cover as it moves from side to side in the dashboard. Does anyone know how the dealers would fix this? Thanks |

| Took mine in because it has got a rattle. I thought it was comming from the passenger airbag cover, which was loose and slid from side to side a bit. The Fabia's pass airbag cover in the showroom was solid in comparison. Took car in at 0800 hrs and received a call this morning to say it wasnt the pass airbag cover. A further call about an hour ago said they would have to remove the dashboard to try and trace the rattle. Good service and communication received so far from dealer. Just hope car goes back together without anything on it being damaged. Prob going to take about two days they say. Other than being in several bits set in their bay, the car is spot on. |
