Default Technical Information on Fabia 3

As an owner of a new Fabia 3, I wish to know more about how it works and how it is assembled. This information is probably available to Skoda Service Partners via a Web site to which I have not found access. Although some information may be withheld for security, safety or trade secrecy, the rest of it could be made available. In 3 years time I may live 100 miles from a Skoda Service Partner and would like to fix any small problems locally, quickly and to the manufacturer's standards. It would be best if this information was available to me now. Have any readers solved this problem? Being an engineer, I have a need to know, and have used similar knowledge many times during the last 50 years.

Why would they do that? I don't know of many manufacturers that do this. Mind you if you want to pay for it I am sure you can get access in some way.

Most people use the resource we have here which is to ask for help when needed. TBH a lot of the Mk2 Fabia (This is the MK1 forum BTW ) bits and bobs are fetured in many other VAG cars and there is plenty of informtion all round the place. If there are sufficent sales there will be a Haynes released in a few years (Although if the MK1 was anything to go by it might be worth looking on Ebay for a manual...)

There are a few dealer bods who are on here and they might have a little more to add to this.

The new Fabia Rainbow. Order now by calling the number on your screen. The first 150 callers will receive three special cleaning attachments and an extension for those hard to reach places. The Fabia Rainbow, unbeatable when it comes to sucking.

If it was a vacuum cleaner, then that would be a good thing, right?

Does it have a ball instead of wheels so it goes round corners better?

To Jon A,
Thanks for your suggestion to try "erwin.volkswagen.de"
My previous thanks do not appear as a comment for some unknown reason.
Unfortunately, Skoda have not as yet put information to this site, although a link to "erwin skoda" was listed by mistake. Thanks again - Paul Marl.
