I would be very dubious about such products. Claiming the gains they do at this low price is not a reassurance of quality or reliability! They can quite often cause damage to a variety of engine components as they do not take the correct parameters into account when adjusting the ecu.
You would be far better off in the long run if you went to a reputable tuning company such as Jabba, Superchips, Revo, Derv Doctor, Allard etc etc

Regards,

Mark

There are many, many threads on the respective merits of analogue tuning boxes (such as that one) compared to digital tuning boxes and remaps. Do a search for Evry mod for more details. Something like that will make your car faster (in the order of dozens of bhp), but at the expense of masses of smoke and constant CEL warnings... Like I say, 'Evry mod'

If you want a tuning box, look at Dragon Performance or other reputiable companies. As its already been said, you get what you pay for.

Re-map or tuning box every time.

A £60 resistor will cause failure of your EGR valve in the long run.

Is it worth it? With main dealer prices, no.

That looks like a Resistor box rather than a digital tuning box (Which is actually quite a complicated and useful piece of kit) jugding by the connectors. You could get the parts to make one yourself for under a fiver.
