| Is it the alignment? or.... For some reason this is getting worse on the car and even in dry conditions .When driving along, driving over man hole covers, bumps and the usual holes in the road the front wheel goes over them ok but the rear tends to move and kick at the back. I know that the Fabia Vrs has a very hard ride but it does seem too harsh sometimes, could this have anything to do with it? The tyres are conti sport contact 2's and still have life in them, could it be the tyre pressure? I have inflated them to what most people put in their Vrs on the search tool. Could the wheels be out of alignment? I don't think I have ever done this to the car since I have had it since july 07. Thanks in advance . |

| Re: Is it the alignment? or.... Swap the front wheels with the back, this will rule out any tyre problems at least, diagonally if possible |

| Re: Is it the alignment? or.... Don't swap them diagonally if you can avoid it. That was a trick from many years ago with crossplies. Keep radials rotating in the same direction whenever possible |

| Re: Is it the alignment? or.... I've found that my Fabia hates any sort of mixing of tyre brands, front and rear. Can swap rear and front same side and see if that helps first. A loose rear end could be from a bent rear axle - especially if someone has jacked up the rear from the center of the rear axle (big no-no). Best to take it to an alignment place and get a printout of the alignment. Scan it and post it up and maybe some of us can help? Cheers Bas
