Question Alloys for a Fabia

I've just been looking for some alloys I could get for the vRS when i get it but i'm struggling to find ones that are the right size. Does anyone know of any good sites? Am I right in thinking that alloys to fit the Fabia are 5x100 and 16"? I do like OZ Racing alloys but I don't know if they fit. If anyone has fitted OZ Racing alloys to their vRS, some pics would be nice to see

Re: Alloys for a Fabia

Most alloy manufactures will do a 5X100 fitment, from OZ to Ronal.

Re: Alloys for a Fabia

Ok. So the standard size for the vRS is 16" or 17"? If it's the former will putting 17"s on affect the speedo and handling much? And does anyone know a good place to get good alloys from?

Re: Alloys for a Fabia

the standard fabia vrs alloys are 16" you can upgrade to 17" but you will need to change the profile of the tyre to keep the speedo accurate. I'm sure a quick search would let you know what tyre size is needed to run 17" alloys.

Re: Alloys for a Fabia

I know this sounds stupid but as i've never had a car with alloys I don't know this. Can the centre cap on the alloy be removed and put on another alloy? E.G. Get Polo alloys and then put in the Skoda centrecaps?

Yes most VAG wheel centres are interchangeble.

17's are no problem at all on the Fabia, handling is much the same tbh.

If you go for 17's please use 215/40/17 tires NOT 205's as these are too skinny and generally look pap. Also speedo is not an issue as running the 215 tires makes the speedo bang on with a GPS so better than OEM really

If the bore's are the same.
VAG wheels are 57.1mm AFAIK.

Feel free to correct me peeps

Re: Alloys for a Fabia

Here are mine.....OZ superturismo in 17's the ride isn't really harsh as the vrs has a stiff suspension anyways.
If you get 17's you will need to lower it a little as mine shows how "tractor like" they can look........a set of coilovers will make it sit much nicer

I think im going to get some Ultraleggera's in 17's when i can afford to after all the hybrid is done. Oz are a strong wheel as mine have been threw a couple of holes and still fine.

Re: Alloys for a Fabia

Definately get 17's imo the 16's are just too small, and lower the car as well, those 2 while they can be expensive will transform the look of your car!
