Default Angel Tuning Remap on Saturday...

OK, I've bitten the bullet and arranged for my car to be remapped by Angel Tuning at Red Dot Racing in Watford on Saturday. It's not a custom map but hopefully they will let me on the rollers to see if their claims are accurate - Angel Tuning reckon 180 bhp on their generic maps

Is anybody else interested in joining me down there to get their car tinkered with? As it stands I'm looking at £310 (plus an extra £120 to Tesco when I told them I was doing it ) but it may go down a few quid if 1 or more people are up for it. Any takers?

P.S. I can't moan at Tesco too much - I declared the Ibiza brace and Octy brakes and they made no charge for them as they are VAG parts

Oh, and maybe next week I'll get around to fitting the sump guard and Eibach suspension... any guesses who isn't commuting to work any more???

Red Dot produce a lot of Maps for many vehicles and sell them to uploaders.

I once watched a guy from Red Dot custom map a Smart Roadster - Pretty impressive gains.

Attached are the test results for their remap - as I said, they reckon 180 bhp and these are the other stats - not sure on torque figures but I figure it sounds about right to go quicker without caning the clutch too much

Figures look about right for a remapped car.
