Black Fab detail :)

Got cleaning the Fabia today and gave it a proper clean ,

So i started off a 10 o'clock this morning and finished about half 3! i now have massive arms ^)
Heres what i did

1. Washed the car the two bucket way and using auto glym shampoo and lambs wool mitt.

2. Using auto glym intensive tar remover, i worked on all those little black specs and left over residue from the rub strip removal that you can see when up close to the paint.

3. Gave the car a clay barring using megs clay and quick detailing spray.

4. Polished the car using Poorboys SSR1 swirl remover (i'd say the correction is about 99.9% .............

5. Waxed the car with Harleys Carnaubua (sp?) wax.

Heres some pics

Then i took the car to where i took my last pics of my 306 and got some shots, heres the 306

And now the fabia (same place just not as green due to the winter)

Heres the rest

Oh and i autosol'd the tail pipe /\

And finally a nice reflection pic

Re: Black Fab detail :)

No way have you got any lowering springs on that car whatsoever. I'm not being funny here, that's the tallest Fabia vRS I've ever seen.

It really is a 4X4 look.

10am to 3pm, is dedication, so top marks for that, that's roughly the time I spend on my car every Sunday morning.

Loving the 306!

Aha, I knew they weren't fitted. When you get them on, it will make a substantial difference to the look. Well, like mine, but with just bigger alloys.

Re: Black Fab detail :)

I'm trying to persuade the Mrs to let me have eibach springs. We share a bank account so she WOULD notice if i went out and bought them.

Looks nice, though i'm sure you'll now change your mind and say they look ****e *joke*

Re: Black Fab detail :)

It's straight, not bent

I put it there, because the window safety logo's are spread across the bottom, and would be visible with the sticker over.

Looking good mate.......

Just washed, polished & waxed mine today too. Started at about 1130 and finished at about 5:30 with a couple of breaks in between..... Going to a uk-polo.net meet tomorrow so wanted to outshine the polo lads.

Here's some pics of mine after polish but before waxing.......

**edit** Sorry to thread hi-jack

Cheers

Dave.
