Brake lights not working

The break lights next to my indicators are both not working, while high level brake light is. I thought this may be a fuse issue but i can't identify a different fuse for the lower level brake lights. I have tried to check all of the fuses by sight but none appear blown.

Can anyone suggest what may cause the two lower brake lights to fail?

Two blown bulbs.

Are the two bulbs likely to blow at the same time?

Welcome to Briskoda.

Would be the cheaper option changing the bulds before looking into it deaper.

Vary rare, but yes both could pop at the same time.

Yep, but having said that do you know they blew at the same time? How often do you check them?
