Company Car Insurance

Hi all,

I'm very sorry if this turns out to be in the wrong forum for the question:

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys know about Insurance Quotes? i.e. I'm planning on buying a Fabia vRS in the next month or so, I currently drive a Company Car, but getting rid of that soon, anyway my Company spoke to the Insurance Company and said I'd be entitled to 5 Years NCB.

Do all Insurance Companied accept a letter (supplied by my Company ok'd by Insurance Company) for me to receive the 5 years NCB?? or do only a few companies do that??

Yes that should do fine.

Our sales director had a company car for 8 years at our place, but decided to take the monhly bung tis time round. Our company insurer sent him a letter confirming his 8 years no claims.

Im not sure if it was worth the full 8 years, but the letter did the job.

Some companies around, do insurance for x company car drivers.

yup, i just moved off my company car to my own insurance and move my 4 years company car no claims accross to the AA. be aware though that you may have to phone up to get a quote as most of the insurance websites arent geared up to enter NCB as from a company car scheme rather than on your own insurance.
