| Hi, I've done a quick search, but not quite found what i'm after. Fabia 1.4 8v (MPi) 1. I had the problem with my PAS not working properly after start-up, so I took it back to the garage to sort it while its still in its 1 month warranty. They gave it a new battery and said that should be sorted. Unfortunatly its not, it still has the same problem, so should I take it back for them to look at the PAS sensor thingy? I dont get any warning lights on the dash, never did, just the heavy steering in the first few mins after start-up. 2. I had an intermittant metallic scraping coming from my rear drum brakes, so while it was in the garage, I got them to have a look. The mechanic said it was just a build up of rust in the brackes, so he cleaned it out, and it was fine on the way home. This was done last thursday (8 Nov). Annoyingly the scraping has come back already (noticed yesterday 10 Nov), and is just as bad as it was before. Is this something more than simple rust, or would it make more sense to have parts replaced? I Hope some one can help me with these problems, so I can get them sorted under warranty before it runs out on the 25th Nov. Cheers Chaos306 |
