| Re: creaky when wet? Is there anything in particular that makes it creak? braking etc? what about "bouncing" the back suspension when stationary... the rear beam bushes have been known to fail and make a kinda rubbing noise.. moreso when its been raining. |

| Re: creaky when wet? it's probably just the rear brake disc's (or drum's). oh and if one of the rear shocks is leaking it could be an mot faliure point depaending on how bad it is. Last edited by TeflonTom; 19-06-2006 at 23:31. |

| Briskodian | Re: creaky when wet? You could always attach lots of umbrellas to the car and stop it getting wet, hope this helps! |

| Briskodian | Re: creaky when wet? ok this thread is a bit old but i think i have found the problem the noise is coming from the front on the passenger side and i think it is the arb bushes i have been doing some searching on this site and seen a couple of things that might be the problem with the arb like bushes, links (what ever that is) and the arb itself. so i was wanting to know some prices of these things i know the bushes cost next to nowt but how much is a new arb and how much are new links?

| Re: creaky when wet? the "links" are the rods that go between the roll bar and the shock absorber , if there is no obvious wear/play in any of the parts i would just spray the ARB bushes with a good lubricant , i.e. WD40 , duck oil or suchlike , this should stop the noise , for a bit at least HTH
