Default Different Colour Inside Petrol Cap Area

I have a dark blue car ( not sure the correct colour name is) last week while filling my car up with petrol I noticed the inner area is a purple colour where the cap and the inside of the flip is. Anyone else with the same colour car noticed this.

It will more than likely just be the flat base colour. As in the boot under carpets, under bonnet etc.
