Question Din-sized plate with gauge moldings or factory covering plate

Anybody know what to use for 2 or 3 gauges in slot underneath radio?
Or could factory covering plate be used (with a little modding)? And what's the part# for that?

And does somebody know that could the Symhony to be moved to this lover spot, so that extra gauges are more visible?

And we're talking about vRS Furby.

can't be moved lower as the fabia radio is bigger than one din.... (i.e the screen section of the radio sticks up half an inch or so higher than 1 din)

But if the "lower" spot is moved then upwards, wouldn't there then be room for symphony player?

I was just wondering will it fit there? (I mean cabling etc.)

I have jusu put an MP3 player in the pocket area under the stereo using a VW stereo blanking plate. Perfect fir and colour match, although does require the use of mastick of glue to hold it in. Have got part number somewhere if necessary. Priced at £5.10 inc VAT

I'll do that when I get my car on January

Ninja_alex: part# yes please. So I can go on with my plans. Have to put gauges then underneath the radio.

If someone could do a drawing with dimensions I will make some up. The drawing must have overall dims and the diameter of the gauge holes and spacings. These can by made from S/Steel or Aluminium with a brushed finish.

Come to think of it I could probably make up covers for engine bay parts if required. All yours for a small donation to Briskoda <Rod for own back smilie>
