Double DIN head units

I'm fancying one of those double DIN sized DVD/MP3/CD/radio efforts (the one that is just a screen, nothing else to see), but I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to get a unit that can control the Skoda CD changer.

I assume Skoda don't actually make their own unit, so.....who does make it? Maybe it will be possible to get a HU from the same manufacturer??

Re: Double DIN head units

If they H/U recognises the cd changer installed then you can control the changer from the H/U otherwise how would you play a CD that was from the changer?

No aftermarket head unit will control the Skoda CD changer.

Bugger!!

Guess I'll have to buy another that is a similar size so it will fit under the seat!!!

Kenwood or Alpine looking favourite so far.

Re: Double DIN head units

I thought you could buy the Skoda MFD, do a search on here and you'll find it. It also includes the satnav and does fit and will control the changer.

Just searched and found these:

www.satnavsystems.com

also available on ebay.....
