| Briskodian | Drums to Disks Hi. I´ve an Fabia TDI with motor PD 75 hp (2004). He have drums on rear suspension and i would adapt it to disks. I see yesterday a Ibiza 6L TDI with PD 100 hp in the scrap, who it has disks. It is plug & play on my Fabia? ![]() |

| Re: Drums to Disks In my experience rear brakes are best left as drums unless your car is a fire breathing racer. Most of the braking is done at the front, and rear discs and pads get corroded and less efficient due to not being used to their full capacity. You nearly always get a better parking brake with drums as well.
