| From what you're saying about it *nearly* closing, it sounds like a hinge problem to me? If it were me I'd try some grease on the hinge. It would be a trial and error issue for me; I don't think you can do too many things wrong in this situation. Good luck Steve

| When i first got my fabia, the rear left door was a lot harder to close than the others. It turned ot to be the door trim was not fitted centrally, and hence catching on closure. Might be worth getting someone to sit inside while you close it, to see if it rubs. Failing that, check your door rubber seals, as if it is catching the door rubbers will be a bit rough where it is catching.
