| Re: Engine Oil- Which One? Welcome to Briskoda. The oil question has been asked a 1000 times  I don't think the oil you mention is OK. What you need to look out for is VW 505 01. If it doesn't have those numbers on it somewhere, it's not suited for the PD engine.http://www.briskoda.net/forums/fabia...bia-vrs/23797/ also applies to the non-VRS PD100 engine

| Re: Engine Oil- Which One? You are using the wrong oil and wearing parts of your engine prematurely. As Xav said, you need 505.01 or 506.01 spec oil which is made for the VW PD engines. You should get an oil and filter change pretty quickly. Sorry for the bad news
