| Fabia II vrs? I know it's a bit early and that there's no official info and just a bunch of rumours out.. But still, I figured it would be great to have a thread on the mk II Fabia vRS. So, post your more or less official rumours of it here ![]() I for one am holding back my next car purchase until we hear something about the new vrs. Was thinking of getting the new octy vrs diesel, but as it turns out - it's way off my price range atm. But a mkII fab vrs would perfectly continue the "tradition" of my current vrs. Personally, it's the best & most fun car I've ever owned. Just wish the mkII would come with pd170 & dsg..

| Re: Fabia II vrs? rsbspt: I know it'll be a long wait, but I'm not in a hurry. My current vrs is an 05 model with about 65k kilometers on the clock so it'll do fine until then. And as a small little detail, I don't live in the uk - I live in Finland which gets the new fab early 2007 like mainland europe. So hopefully we'll get the future vrs before you guys get it as well ![]()

| Re: Fabia II vrs? I'd bet good money on the Mk2 furby VRS being offered with a choice of the 1.4TSI and 2.0TDI , both in 140bhp versions

| Fabian | Re: Fabia II vrs? OK, let's be positive abouit this. By the time the Fab II vRS is produced, Briskoda will be talking to SUK again, and they may be listening. So what do we want the Fab IIvRS to be? How should it look? What toys should come as standard? How much difference between it and the next lower model in the range? Let's create a Briskoda vRS! |

| Re: Fabia II vrs? Again , being realistic it will be based on the Ambiente in terms of gadgets plus the usual sporty enhancements. I'd expect ESP to be standard rather than just the usual traction control , and the seats to be darker than the current model. I'd *like* to see an estate version along side the hatch - it looks a better car in the spy shots - and the option of proper climate control instead of the basic air-con. A lot of what you can expect will be determined by the Octy VRS. The fabia won't be faster , hence the 140bhp versions of the engines and is unlikely to be higher spec as standard. I know plenty of people would love to see the 2.0T or the PD170 with 4wd but you have to have realistic expectations. As nice a car as the VRS is you must remember that it is basically a standard small hatchback that has been playing in the VW parts bin rather than a firebreathing monster with bespoke kit.
