| Hello, I have a Fabia 2001 1.4 classic that didnt come with central locking and the only way to open the boot was the lever in the front. I decided to upgrade and purchased a remote locking kit from r-click. That is all installed and working, I also brought from them a boot release solenoid to release the boot, however I have fixed it in place and it works perfectly until i shut the boot and it simply doesn't have the strength to pop the boot up. After studying the mechanics and lubricating them, I think the latch on the tailgate could be the problem as the small lever that releases the boot seems unnecessarily stiff. So my question is how do I remove this latch? Or do you have any other solutions to my problem. Thanks in advance |
