They sound like a fat womans fart.

A Zafira TDI passed me the other day with one and it sounded like Donald Duck being penetrated with a large cucumber.

I have to diasgree, I think it sounds good, have you heard a proper Forge one?

As I said before, it's not blow your ears off loud, just a nice noise between gearshift.

My housemate has a MK1 Golf with a turbo lump in it, you should the dump valve on that! It would shatter windows!!

Not challenging the fact that they dont sound good on a petrol.

But on diesel, no.

imho if the manufacture didnt put one on, theres no point. my saab turbo had a recirculation valve. you couldnt fit an atmospheric valve as the ecu took account of the air in the recirc valve. might not be obvious now, but you could be starving / making it harder for the turbo.

Ita a personal thing , some like it some dont ....if you feel you would like one ....go for it dont let the naysayers put you off . some people change their side repeaters , that doesnt do anything for the car but they do it anyway , I can confirm to you that there is absoloutly no change in performance as it has been well tested and many sold
