Fuel flap wont stay shut on Fabia 1.4 16v

I can't get my fuel flap to shut its like the catch isnt getting the hook on the inside of the flap.

the cars under warranty anything easy it might be to save me 50m trip to dealers?

Try using Search. There is an easy fix.

The cable has come out. Pull back the carpet on the o/s of the boot and clip it back in.

This happened on mine. Went round to the dealer and he simply came out and stuck his finger in where the catch is on the fuel filler cap, pullled it slightly, and it has worked ever since.

Same happened to my 2004 vRS. Local dealer said "Pretty common problem, the clip has come off the cable. The Czech's malke great cars but crap clips, so we'll fit a new British one". Took 10 minutes, FOC under warranty.
