| just done the first bit of my 60k service ,well had the cambelt done. quite pleased with the price of £141 including full tensioner and roller set and including vat plus done by a deisel engine specialist. for the actual service i have been quoted between £50 and £150 inc vat (main dealer), thing is the cheaper quote is errrrr motorsave and im wondering what type of engine oil they use(also there not licenced to do fuel filters) id do it myself but its under warranty with warranty direct so it has to be done by a vat regestered garage |

| I was going to say its too early, but hey at that price it would be silly not to.

| £400ish+ which for a dealer isn't too bad considering the time it takes and the value of the parts is up toward £200, with all the oil, filters, etc on top of the full cambelt kit

| I paid £350ish for my 60k service! That was with a main dealer, while other dealers and VAG specialists were quoting £450-£600! Shame that the same dealer also refused to acknowledge the existence of "lube" services and tried to get me to pay £200 for a 70k service 5 months later! Suffice to say, I took my business elsewhere ![]() Chris
