| Help! My window has dropped and its raining! I've stripped it all apart from the door carrier which is stuck. I believe it is the regulator but how do I get it out? I've searched the forums but ther is no mention of this tricky little bit. Thanks in advance, James |

| So I understand, but I couldn't get it out. I've used this description and it looks like I have to take out the lock as well. I've stopped for the moment 'cause its chucking it down and I need a long torx. VWvortex Forums: DIY - Replacing the front door window regulator clips and/or door lock module |

| You dont need to remove the lock if you poke out the plastic rivets (they aint needed). Have you disconnected the window?
