Default Hmm, picked up some nice stuff earlier :-)

A few weeks ago I happened to meet up with a brilliant guy who, as it turned out, was the owner of our local Skud approved bodyshop. I enquired about having a couple of jobs done and here are the results. Pictures taken in a hurry but you get the idea. (Note to self - Turn that bloody date stamp off on the camera)

Strut Brace - Black Magic

Eibachs - Matt Black (To give the OEM look)

The workmanship is second to none and the price was very reasonable. Nick is a top guy and has said he will look after the needs of any members who need bodywork etc sorted.

Fareham in Hants.

Very nice guy. Makes plenty of time to chat and tell you about the horror stories of new cars they repair. Stood there today looking at a Police Fiesta with the roof all bashed in which will be repaired and a Porche with about 9k of damage!!

Very nice Stu!

Wanted to do my strut brace Black Magic as well, but for an amateur it's a bugger trying to get the gloss levels even. So, opted for the easy option of satin black!

Did the Eibachs have to be stripped down for painting?

Ooooh, I like the red the strut braces come in. Complete with Seat sport sticker for that "yes, I've used another brand to mod my car" look.

However, if it gets tatty or anything I'm tempted by the green hammerite.

I do agree with the painting of the struts.. the only reason my dealer noticed the suspension had been modified is coz of the silver struts lol.. theve never noticed the brakes or cupra intake.. and theve not seen the fmic yet

They were keyed up a bit and primed I think. It's a pretty amazing looking job TBH, you wouldn't know they didn't leave the factory like that.
