Jabbasport Rear Anti Roll Bar

Went to Jabba on Friday to have my Eibach springs fitted to my Vrs and while I was there I tried out a new rear anti roll bar for them that they should have in final production over the next week or so.

Personally I was very pleased with it. I tried the car after the springs had been fitted and it felt better and seemed to have less body roll. I then tried the car with the rear anti roll bar fitted and it really felt a lot better. The car seemed to corner a whole lot better and just felt very solid and tight, I was very impressed, it made more noticeable difference over the Eibach springs alone.

As I say, the roll bar should be in final production form and available to buy hopefully towards the end of this week, I think they just need to order in a load of correct size bushes and that's it. From speaking to Nick it looks as if they are going to retail it around the Ł180 mark, dare to say I will be having one fitted very soon!

Initially the're doing a 22mm diameter bar (which was the one I tried) but will be doing a 25mm soon after.

Speak to Nick and he should be able to give you all of the relevant details.

Where does the rear one sit? Might have to see if I can free up some more capital during the month.

I'm still waiting for Nick to give me a freeby after using my car to measure up for the rear roll bar when mine was in!

Good news! Have been waiting for a rear ARB for quite a bit now.

Very interested in a GB when it comes around.

What's the score with fitting it? Is it a drill job or does it use existing fitments? Was it a two pair-of-hands fit or a professional fit?

When I asked Nick about this he said it would be similar to the Neuspeed arrangenet....

....hangers clamps on the rear beamand then links to bottom of struts.

Should be DIY job.

Thats's correct. They only took about 10 minutes to fit it to my car and 5 minutes to remove it. I hoped that were going to having so much trouble removing it that they would just leave it on but no such luck!! Nick did say he'd do me a good deal on it though for letting them use my car as the guinea pig.

I'll have one fitted this Friday along with the rest of the stuff i'm booked in for as long as Greenlight don't object or charge me too much for adding the ARB.

I'm in for a very long day at Jabba.

I know quite a few on this site have just springs fitted and have had no problems. Jabba has also done a few without problems too!

I have read the Eibach brochure and it states that the Pro Kit springs are designed to work with OEM dampers as well as thier own
