| I'm planning on modding the vRS when the warranty runs out. Problem is that he car is here in Bahrain, and it's really too complex and expensive to ship out to the UK. If I were to fit a FMIC, Miltek exhaust, PD160 intake, uprated clutch and a hybrid turbo, can the ECU be shipped and the car safely remapped to produce near the kind of gains you would get from all-out Jabbasport RR tuning? What I mean, is can the map parameters from an identically set up vRS be copied (perhaps with a touch of de-tuning) to the ECU without the whole vehicle being shipped to UK and back? How much is vehicle-to-vehicle variation a real factor in tuning effectively and safely? The only other concern in re-mapping is that for 2 months of summer its above the 40 deg C mark as well. I've still got several months of warranty left to plan out the ultimate vRS (or blindly copy Xav's beast!! )Thanks for any thoughts Bas

| Most good tuners can remap the EDC15 ECU on the bench without seeing the whole car. Just send them the ECU and a very accurate list of the mods done, weather conditions, driver style etc and they should be able to provide some great resuls. |

| Definitely a FMIC would be needed to cope with those temperatures - so that definitely gets my vote With a fairly conservative but custom remap you should hit very nice performance increases ![]() |

| You could get a One Click. no need for a direct remap, and it can all be done via post. |

| You can bring it to Dubai and get it remapped by Performance Motorspares. They do remaps.

| Get all the mods inparticular the FMIC then find a remapper near you and get it done. Or contact a UK tuner and ask the question ![]()
