| My bright red nose Sorry if it's in the wrong bit of the forum, but.....it is a modification isn't it?? Literally a fifteen minute job (including a clean of the component parts) Not a bad mod for about Ł75 all in (including new grille surround) I think it makes the car look better. ![]() |

| Re: My bright red nose I bought a new chrome surround (about £40) and took it to the Skoda dealers bodyshop. Cost me £29.87 for the colour coding. I fitted it myself......like I say, took about 15 minutes. Please don't mock the ride height and wheels........I'll be getting the Eibach pro-kit very shortly and I have my eyes on some VERY nice 17" wheels. Going to have a play on Photoshop and see what they look like. Was fancying 18's, but can't be arsed with messing about to get clearances, etc. ![]() ![]() Oh yeah....ignore the dates on the pictures, I keep forgetting to set the date correctly. The pics were taken yesterday!! Last edited by martyrobertsdj; 28-06-2006 at 20:17. |

| Re: My bright red nose Nice mod, looks sweet. I suspect a red car is the best colour for this mod to look its best.

| Re: My bright red nose Cheers folks. I saw the mod' done on a black car and it looked good. I kept my original chrome grille surround, just in case it didn't look very good......however...I am happy. |

| Re: My bright red nose Looks good, so if you where using the existing chrome surround you could probably get it done for £30 if you fitted it yourself ![]()

| Re: My bright red nose I don't like the extra line that's created having both parts the same colour, I thought maybe black would work, but I'm not liking it either (may be the angle) ![]() Edit: just to check the angle issue: ![]() Edit: and again, to check the 'smoothing' of the extra line (now looks too thick) ![]()
