Need Power

Does anybody know the best place to hard wire a power supply inside the Fabia?
I just want power to a radar detector on the dash right hand side but there is nowhere obvious to tap into, where is the fuse box? I don’t fancy running a lead through into the engine bay if I can help it…Thanks

Tap into the loom at the back of stereo, thats what i did to power my pda, its really easy

Thanks, Is the stereo easy to pull out? i have only had the car a week so i am still scared to pull thing apart.

You will need some removal keys or do what i did and use 2 straightened out ikea picture hooks! They slide into the 2 holes in the side of the stereo and it just unclips and slides out. From there you can tap into a live that only works when the ignition is on, nice and easy

Stereo is easy to get out but you need two keys to release it.

They are the same as Kenwood keys.
