You must have a good job to fund all that.

I would love a garage... i sat staring out of the window at the horrible weather waiting for a break so i could clean my vrs, never happened though

Good job? Just try to work hard, and yes, the garage is fantastic - we were very lucky to get the house with it as many in the village don't have one. It used to house a 355 and 964 RS!

Nice that, although mine looks like that after a quick 20 mins wash with a bog standard car wash shampoo

I swear by Diamondbrite Jewelultra, have given it 2 coats in 3 years and my car still looks showroom after a quick wash down.

I've used virtually all known applications over the years, nothing comesclose to Diamondbrite imho.

Nice garage tho'

I spent a while doing a rush clean the other day - getting the 3 month winter coat off!

The products you are using look great as do the results.

What do these products cost , where would you buy them from?

Is it recommended practice to do this sort of detailing in a garage rather than outside?

Many thanks

Carefree,

If you're car looks anything like mine after 20 mins with normal car wash I will take my hat off to you, and then eat it, with ketchup and then post the video on YouTube!

Diamond Brite is well known as the biggest money maker in the car business. Cost to dealer - £15, cost to consumer £300. No thanks Saying that, sealants do work well, but you can get a good one for under £20.

The garage is going to be gutted soon and given a proper sorting out - need to hire a skip and clear all the rubbish in the roof and get it boarded

Olivereed,

Products range from a tenner to a bit more than that
I would look at Polished Bliss' site and also Clean Your Car - they have everything you need

Thanks for the kind words Gary! Yep, make the time and you feel great once it's done (apart from getting three HUGE damn stone chips on the bonnet on the A1 today)

Luckily there a is a great guy in Hull called Tim Disney (local Chips Away guy) and he does a superb job - just rung him and seeing him tomoz

There are plenty of little chips on the front of the car, but these three new ones are right bleeders! Hopefully they will be gone soon!
