Default Puff of smoke at start up!

Had my Fabia vRS for afew weeks now and have done just over 1000 miles and have recently noticed a little puff of grey smoke for a couple of seconds when the car is started.
I don't seem to notice it smoke any other times even under hard accelaration, just seems to be at start up.
This is my first diesel car so hopefully this is quite normal and nothing to worry about.
If anyone can put my mind at rest I'd be very grateful.
Cheers

Its fine!

Mine smokes a good'un too, although it is a TDI, it's basically the same. If I'm forced to use any decent acceleration too when its still very cold, I get good (white/grey) smoke too.

Yep, nothing unusual. My Superb with its pd130 does exactly the same.

Mine does it too. I also get a serious amount of steam for the first couple of miles when cold.

Smoke, I never see no smoke. then again, I can't see very much out of rear window after I've started it. Haven't got a clue why.

Mine does the same. I wait for the glowplug lamp to extinguish, but it still does it.

Possibly. I have tried clearing the window with the washers but to no avail.

mines a grey/blue colour on start up, just a quick puff of the stuff. Should I be worried or should I go to spec savers?
