Default Recent Petrol Crisis

I have a Fabia vRS and I have noticed occasionally a drop in power a few weeks ago and occasionally now.

But I have a diesel.

With the recent problems in the news could diesel have been contaminated by this silicon substance?

Cheers guys

Shouldnt effect it as bad if at all as the diesel doesnt use lambda probes on the vRS.

And diesel normally has silicone in it anyway.
Someone probably dropped a load of diesel additives into a tank of unleaded

I was wondering how long it would take before someone posted this

The Silicon in the dodgy petrol is different to the Silicone in diesel and as Lummox has said there are no lamda sensors to worry about on the VRS
Diesel quality can be variable anyway. Doesn't matter where you buy it from, you can sometimes get a "bad" tank.
