| Hello. I'm going to get some Philips XTREME Bulbs for my dipped beam (Are they H7 fitment?) But just wondering if anyone can reccomend some decent sidelights to match their light? I had Philips BlueVision sidelights before and they were yellow I then had some PIAA but they had too much of a blue tint to them. I've also heard that you can't fit LED sidelights to the vRS as it has a "blown bulb" indicator apparantly? I'm after some sidelights that are just pure white or that will match the Philips XTREME headlamps. Thanks for any help.

| Yep - you need H7 bulbs. My Philips freebie sidelights that came from Powerbulbs are nice and white and match the Extremes.... Chris

| Once you turn the dipped beams on, they'll overpower the sidelight bulbs anyway so the colour is irrelevant. I've got Philips Bluevisions and they are kind of...blue. |

| I've got bluevisions in mine too, not blue in the slightest, still a bit yellow but defo whiter than standard bulbs. Good anough for me. I did have some ebay LED sidelight and they were proper white but after a few months started to turn a bit purple so i binned em and fitted the bluevisions.

| I do know what you mean about the BlueVision W5W bulbs - should be a bit bluer than they are I think! But certainly an improvement over standard. I must get round to changing them in mine - they look like small candles compared to the Xenons! As an alternative, look as Osram's CoolBlue W5W bulbs. I had those in the Mazda (which didn't have very good headlights) and found them to be a distinct improvement, both in terms of light output and look. Again, not really blue but a nice crisp white light, with hints of blue around the fringes of the light output. To me, that's what you want as any 'bluer' than that and you're actually filtering too much of the light out and reducing output. Some would say not too important on sidelights, but I think every little helps ![]() Steve
