Default Respray...

Well after finally getting my car back to the garage i bought it from to have the pealing bodykit sorted, the first impressions from the garage where good - no questions asked they would take responsibility for the problem and respray the whole kit - easy. Dropped the car in on friday morning and was told i would be contacted saturday when the car would be ready, i was given the keys to a 54 plate fabia estate 1.2 and i left feeling a happy man...

...Saturday afternoon and still no phone call so i decided to give them a ring to check on the progress - "sorry sir your car wont be ready until tuesday or wednesday...". Now i dont like to whinge or cause a fuss but i had to drive over 300 mile to get the car to them and was told it was a two day job. So i was told to take the courtesy car and go home (again 300 miles drive). So now im left with no confirmed swap over date or even how im goning to get my car back!

Also my car is a diesel and theres a reason for that - i drive a sh*t load of miles each week - the courtsey car is a petrol and is costing me a fortune!

So i guess my question is this - should i be right to feel really pi**ed and should i demand that the garage in question pays for my extra fuel costs?

any advise would be good!

cheers, mas

Kick up a stink if you do not get the car back when promised, and threaten a solictor for recovery of addtional fuel costs i01f they fail to deliver.

See if you can get a free service from them.
