Seat removal?

Hi. Please could someone tell me how to remove the front seats from the fabia vrs? I'd like to remove them for cleaning if it's not to difficult.

Many thanks.
Luko.

Re: Seat removal?

there are 4 bolts , one basically at each corner of the seat , push the seat back to access the front bolts, and push it forward to access the rear bolts

you will need a 12 point spline socket to remove them , and ideally the bolts should be renewed , not re-used

Or use a bit of thread lock on the old ones.

It's an M10 spline drive fitting.

Re: Seat removal?

From reading previous posts, removing the seat covers is a bad idea (difficult to get back on).
