| I have decided. Drove a roomster for 7 hours straight and after only half an hour on the motorway with my elbow/forearm resting on what skoda would consider an armrest, my arm was in great pain and starting to go numb. Drove 400 miles in my fabia vrs today, same thing. Why the hell do they fit a solid plastic armrest to these cars? It'd only be comfortable to people who have their own padding(fat). Every other car i've owned & driven has a padded fabric armrest, skoda fit a solid plastic pile of crap. This is the rest on the doorcard for anyone who is wondering what the hell i'm on about. Now i've gotta work out what i'm gonna do to it to make it bearable! Does it annoy anyone else as much as me? |

| Try not resting your arm on the armrest, but instead, using it for steering.

| I do use it for steering, while my arm is rested on the rest, whenever i drive on the motorway i have to rest my arm on it as it's in the way of where my arm would sit in the correct position if that makes sense. I can't see the point in having one if it's too uncomfy to use? |

After a couple of months with this car I was expecting to find fault with it by now, comfort wise, nothing ! Surprised to hear people are uncomfortable. Only fault Ive found is the radio tuning is a bit poor and thats it. To all my english colleagues down south, move up here !! Less traffic means more space and less people ! | |

| Must be just me then ![]() I don't mind about my left arm as that has space, but my right arm i am used to resting on something. I'll work it out, probably get some padding added to the top when i get the cards retrimmed. |

I'm sure it has been mentioned before on here, although I've never got round to looking at one to see if it is true.
