Default vRS Brakes - what else .... ?

Ok, now that I have the Fubia vRS (super wee car that it is), the pads and disks need changing.

Having looked on t'interweb I can't see much in the way of replacment disks / pads listed for the vRS. I think I have the size right, 288mmx25mm so I'm looking to find out what else in the VAG range runs this size of disk (Fabia vRS can't be the only car in the world running this size disk) , ie Golf MKIV, Bora, Passat, etc

Then I can search against those cars for the part, or if someone knows the VAG part number I can check that way.

Any help is much appreciated, also other than a 312mm brake upgrade does anyone run an aftermarket disk/pad set-up specific to the Fabia vRS, ie Grooved/Drilled front and/or rear.

Ta!

Golf Mk 4 1.8T have the same discs as the Fabia Vrs.

Check out:

https://secure.gsfcarparts.com/shop/

VW watercooled
Golf Mk4

Brake system (friction)

They list a few 288mm discs from £23

Also Pagid, Pagid fast road and greenstuff pads

Pads however are not the same as the MK4 Golf/Octavia with 288mm brakes.

My Greenstuff Front pads for the Fabia Vrs were part number DP 21479, the rears were DP 21497.

As Lummox pointed out these are totally different from the Golf and Octavia pads.

They are the same however as the SEAT Ibiza 100bhp and 130bhp TDI from 2002 onwards.

OK, so in terms of upgrading the disks, MKIV 1.8T ad Octy MKI (I assume) have 288mm brakes, so I can see whats available for them as an upgarde, ie Blackdiamond, EBC, Brembo, etc

And for pads it just Fab vRS pads as per normal..........
