| the same happened to mine mate 2 weeks ago and 8 months into the warranty, got it fixed at the dealers, the guy on the parts desk said it is a common fault and they have to carry out a modification, takes about half an hour, not sure what it is exactly but its been fine since |

| check out a search, think its something to do with the clip, remove the bootliner on the drivers side and all the mechanism is there, |

| yeah inside the bootliner I inadvertantly found this out when i stripped my interiour, pretty poor design really
