| Do you keep your foot on the brakes when you have come to a stop. If so this cause much increased heat build up which in turn will cause warped discs or similar problems. I've not noticed any problems on my octy, and don't know of similar problmes on a friends furby vRS. |

| oh kinda bizzaro. Well unless you are braking very hard then I would just say bad luck unless you have been through more than one lot. I would guess a change them and see how it goes approach. |

| Almost certainly a build up of pad residue on the disc due to gentle braking, have a read of this http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp...rakedisk.shtml Then take the car out & use the brakes hard several times, Drive at 70 (more if you want) CHECK MIRROR, brake as hard as you can without kicking in the abs till nearly stopped then accelerate & repeat several time

| car not stood for any length of time so may try the hard braking approach,only 13,000 miles on her,no problems at service time,strange one eh? |

| a friend of mine, warped her breaks driving pritty fast and had to stop (in her octy vrs) warped the breakes, got them changed under warrenty ![]()

| Do you have standard pads? I've warped two sets of discs on a previous car when running ebc greenstuff pads wouldnt recommend them more trouble than there worth! |

| all brake parts are standard,many thanks for all the info y'all. i will try stomping on the brake pedal tomorrow, see how that goes, otherwise go for a warranty claim. |
