Re: Whats your best Fabia mod excuse?

Are you only 30mm away from reaching it? If you're 60mm away, say you'll need a full coilover kit.

I think my worst excuse was fitting the pd130 setup, as the pd100 was just "not fast enough"

Aside from that my usual excuse is "Because I want to! "

In all seriousness I've found the overtaking thing a real godsend. Overtook an old gent in a rover 25 this morning doing 32 in a 40 limit. I got a flash of his headlights as I went by, but the fact I could do 30 to 60 in.... ahem quick, meant I could get past quick and safely, then go back to my normal driving in those conditions (i.e not 32 mph...)

Re: Whats your best Fabia mod excuse?

[Off topic] Dont you just hate it when people drive slowerly, so you overtake them in a safe mannor and they then flash their lights at you. Really grinds my gears!

And those who break when they see you pull out, and you narrowly miss their offside rear. [/Off topic]

Re: Whats your best Fabia mod excuse?

I fitted a sub and amp and some strut braces, which are quite heavy, so needed a remap to get the performance back up to standard levels.

Re: Whats your best Fabia mod excuse?

The Seat strut brace gives me something to grab as a support when I'm leaning over the engine.
