Buying a Fabia VRS

Hi guys,wonder if i could get some advice and info please.I am the very happy owner of an Octy VRS MK I,but after seeing it and haven driven it my dad was extremely impressed with it and is thinking of going for a Fabia VRS so id liek to know what/if any common problems the Fab suffers from as it will be a 2nd hand one he will be going for?
Any information at all will be very much appreciated.

Depends on age, under 12 months old could have the stutter. Things to watch for are wet carpets, wrinkly or frayed seats, rattle from gear stick, rattle from dash. There are other things that individuals have come accross if you do a search but think these are the most common.

Great car - OK, only had vRS three weeks. But I read up on it big style before choosing.
Get a low-mileage one, if from a Skoda dealer and it is under three years old you should get a 1yr unlimited mileage warranty. Make sure FSH.

You can search for specific models by using the, oddly enough, Specific Model button after having selected (e.g.) Skoda Fabia.

And, of course, Autotrader.
If you register with Autotrader (free) you get far better search options than the 'stock' ones with Autotrader.
