Default changeing stanard head unit VRS

im looking to get a new head unit other than the standard one but was wondering about the gap options, i mean the head unit in the fab is quite a big thing and i was just going for a "normal" size head unit. do they just put one of them facia plates under it? coz my prob is someone fitted one similiar in my brothers mondeo and the facia kept falling out and the unit too, im presuming it was a cowboy that or is it always a problem

You can buy the necessary part from your skoda dealer, its really cheap and fits far better than the autoleads adaptor.

There is an official skoda blanking plate for the job, much better than the crap from autoleads, do a search chap, it will turn up prices and more info.

With the Fabia, the standard leads should just plug in. You may need to swap the 12v supplies, depending on HU chosen.
