| Hi, I need to take off my garage fitted number plates and replace with my private plate. I have not done this before, is it easy? Do I just unscrew the black bit on the plate and take them off or do I have to undo the boot from the inside and front grill on the front? My new plates have been supplied with both screws and sticky tape, which is the best/easiest option for re-fitting (as the number plates do not have any pre-drilled holes) maybe I should just attach private plates with sticky tape? I would appreciate any help that can be given so I dont make a mess of replacing these plates, Thanks very much |

| Just unscrew from the outside mate. I use sticky pads on my plates, but make sure you go for the thicker versions as they tend to pad the number plate out past the grommets for the screws and also hold better in the long term. Halfrauds sell both the thinner pads and the thicker versions. Looks much better in my opinion. |

| if you have to dill the holes in the number plate yourself, drill through from the back becasue sometimes it cracks a little around the holes
