I used a kvw100 to flash the conveniance unit on my Golf & it worked a treat, one touch windows close or open from the keyfob !

I'm fairly certain it doesn't flash the Fabia conveniance unit though.

Ailientech might work but I'm not sure.

KVW100 EFFECT: ( cool and you will never have a chance to forget to close windows)

one touch "lock" windows roll up automatically (very useful)
"lock"+"trunk" windows and sunroof keep the original state
hold on "unlock" roll down windows to any place you want

I put my windows up before I leave the car. A bazarre, onorthodox move indeed but I feel it works well.

Re: Confused? Remote Window Closure Fabia.

I enquired about the Alientech a while ago, but that didn't work on the Fabia.

quote from passatworld
"alientech: famouse and good reputation need wire and cost about 60 usd. it cost about 30 minutes to install.
autowindow: need wire and cost about 60 usd it cost about 40 minutes for install
VDSPRO: by special vag-com and thrid party software. it is free! but need run the software in dos system. it cost about 5 minutes.
KVW100: performance to close windows automatically. (one touch lock) and cost 50 usd. it cost about 50 seconds to install.

I choose a lasy way kvw100. to be hornest , i always forget to close windows when i lock the car before. so i think kvw100 is my best choice.I did this upgrade and it is great. no more waking up in the middle of the night in a rain storm wondering if I shut the sunroof or not but if you have good memory and never forget to close windows when leave your car, i suggest you use VDSPRO. it is free anyway. Re: Confused? Remote Window Closure Fabia.

Any pointers where I can download VDSPRO ?
Did a search and found this info:

Tyresmoke.Net: Why would I want a VAG-COM and WTF is it anyway?

Cheers

Likewise, I have a computer serial cable, an old laptop AND a Fabia but unfortunately I don't feel computer literate enough to attempt this and I don't want to F*** up my CCU by trying !!!!
