| Briskodian | Diesel Particulate Filter, possible? My car is chugging out a lot of smoke (for a diesel) even on startup, you see a wisp of smoke blow past the car. Can you get DPF's for this car? Also has anyone purchased the Thule roof basket, looking for some more load carrying capacity. Cheers Des |

| Re: Diesel Particulate Filter, possible? i don't think that DPFs are retrofitable to your car , there is quite a bit of kit to make them work and i would imagine they would be expensive and probably wouldn't stop the "wisps of smoke" on start up anyway , its a diesel at the end of the day

| Re: Diesel Particulate Filter, possible? Yep, my octy TDi has a particle filter and it makes a slight puff on startup. Also seems to make no difference when giving it some beans, as it still smokes then.
