Simple answer = ummmmmmmmmmmmm not sure

If it was a dragon digital and you go to a remap ..power not much difference but the map is smoother ....it's a bit like going from a dragon analouge to digital ..less harsh wider power band ...this is only going on both dragon boxes and AMD one click though

Remap alters the boost aswell, so I would expect a bit more of a difference

Not so much of a shove in the back with the remap but it lasts a lot longer

Most remaps bring it in a bit earlier as well, with the radio off I can hear mine spooling up from 1000 rpm

I currently have a digital tuning box (very similar to a Dragon unit) and was wondering the same thing.

Mine doesn't have the "jumpers" as a Dragon unit but the guy/company I got it from can alter the box's map by plugging it into a laptop. Had mine turned up quite far (further than he is running on his Bora 1.9! - but he has a boost controller as well!)

I've been considering getting rid of the 'box for a remap but still undecided. I like the concept of being able to remove the box and no trace is left. I know the benefits of something like one click but I can always sell my unit on, where as a remap will add little value if any and may deter some potential customers.

Interesting to hear someone's thoughts having had a Dragon tuning box and a One Click on the same car

Me too. Although my car doesn't appreciate much throttle down there. It'll pootle along pushing around half a bar at 1200rpm.

Never having had a tuning box I cannot compare at all. I just can't get the resistor tuning box thing out of my head, and even think of the best tuning boxes in this way.... unfairly of course. Removing all trace doesn't affect me either.

I've sold my digital dragon tuning box, I MUCH prefer the car as standard to be quite honest.

I'm suprised by that. My car feels both smoother and faster with my box, it won't be going back to std

Had the box now the CC1 code remap.
Revs like a petrol to the red line, best £500 quid I have spent.
However you can purchase a dragon digital box for over £100 if you look carefully so this represents one of the best value £/ bhp for your cash.
Love the remapp though
