| Just been in the new Skoda Octavia section and saw the colour coded grill surrounds. Skoda should make this the standard. It is stunning. I posted the following there but probably I'm more likely to get the answer here. Mine is a Fabia vRS, Black Magic and I'm definitely going to colour code. However, I'd like to get a spare chrome surround from a scrappy; that way I can return to original should the need arise. So, what I need to know is: is the chrome grill surround the same for all Fabia models? Thanks, in anticipation. |

| Yep, same grill surround on all fabias. Might be best to buy a new one, that way it won't be bent / damaged so will fit properly. Not sure how much they are from the dealers but can't be much. Its something I plan to do in the not too distant future. |

I kept mine on the existing chrome surround and bought a new one for the new colour coded surround because it would have meant cutting the locating lugs off the back to get it off as they had been melted down to hold the badge in place. Surround was approx £25 and the badge was £2 or 3 i think. Cheers Dave. | |
