| Not sure if this is a generic issue, but when I'm stationary and in neutral I have a vibration noise coming from the gear shift. If I move the stick very, very slightly left or right it goes. Might just need the linkage adjusting slightly to stop this or do all Fabia vRS's do this? |

| It's a common problem for which replacement parts are available from your dealer. The new bits of linkage damp down the resonance in the system so that the vibration goes away. I got mine fixed under warranty. |

| Part numbers for the gear lever rattle are: 6Q0711265AD and 6Q0711266P As posted by me in the above thread - I have seen the skoda technical bulletin for the rattle, and the issue is not with the selector cables as such, it's the gearstick and linkage. I know because the bulletin had pictures of the old and new parts on it! Incidentally, last I heard they are still making Furbies with the old, defective linkage
